Cruising Point

When I biked across the Golden Gate bridge in San Fran, I stopped in the middle to admire the view. In the far horizon was this cruise ship that had just left the port and I decided to wait for it. Though it took almost half an hour before it passed under the bridge, it was well worth it. How often do you see a bird’s eye view of a ship’s deck anyway? I could almost touch the funnels! We on the bridge waved at the passengers who also waved back with gusto. They must have been headed for Acapulco probably while I was on my way back to Kuwait. But in that brief moment of time, our paths crossed and we wished each other a safe journey.
