Mayon Volcano at Dusk

It was quickly getting dark when our bus passed right in front of Mayon Volcano. Though I had shot it many times earlier in the day, the almost-monochromatic scene intrigued me specially the reflection on the rice paddy. So I braced myself on the seat and with bated breath fired off 12 shots at 4fps. Out of that, only one nailed the reflection on the water. It wasn’t as sharp as I wanted but the streaked blurry effect, I think, came out quite nicely.

(Shot with a Nikon D80 somewhere in Camalig, Albay, Philippines)
