Manarola is one of the five small villages that hug the rugged coastline of Cinque Terre in Italy. This vantage point has a remarkable view of the multicolored houses spilling down this rocky promontory with a narrow pier below where boats dock to bring tourists to the other outlying towns. It is indeed very picturesque and the contrast of the various colors against the rocks would make for quite a beautiful postcard to send home.
